Vartui Terzian, 93 years old, of Highland Park, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ.
Born in Constantza, Romania, she lived in Romania for most of her life before moving to the United States about twenty-five years ago. She was a homemaker, loving wife, caring mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vahe, in 2016. Vartui's only daughter, Dr. Haigui Terzian Burdea and son-in-law, Arthur Dudley Clark, Jr. both of Highland Park, and grandson, Gregory Patrick Burdea.
Relatives and friends may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Parking is available behind the funeral home or on S. Adelaide Avenue. Pastor Brian Cooper of the Montgomery Evangelical Free Church will lead a prayer service at 7 pm. A family member will follow with a eulogy.
The procession will leave at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 3rd from the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home for an 11 am graveside service lead by Pastor Brian Cooper of the Montgomery Evangelical Free Church at Van Liew Cemetery, Georges Road, North Brunswick. A lunch hosted by the family will immediately follow at Labebe Restaurant, 2150 US 130, North Brunswick, NJ 08902 (732) 658-6400. The restaurant is conveniently located 10 minutes from the committal.
In accordance with Armenian tradition, flowers are welcome to the Friday visitation.
