Vahe Terzian, age 91, of Highland Park, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough, N.J.
Born in Constantza, Romania, he lived in Romania for most of his life before moving to the United States about twenty years ago. He had worked for 45 years in Romania for the Board of Education in the areas of culture, arts, children's education and exhibits.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Vartui Terzian of Highland Park, a daughter, Haigui Terzian Burdea and son-in-law, Arthur Dudley Clark, Jr. both of Highland Park, and a grandson, Gregory Patrick Burdea.
Relatives and friends may visit from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park with a prayer service beginning at 8 p.m. The procession will leave at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, January 30th from the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home for a 10:15 a.m. graveside service at Van Liew Cemetery, Georges Road, North Brunswick. A luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at Due Mari Restaurant, 78 Albany Street, New Brunswick, N.J. 08901 (732) 296-1600 following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery Evangelical Free Church.
