Lakatos, Steven R. died at his residence in Edison, NJ on Thursday, November 1, 2018 after a brief illness. Steven was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and lived in Middlesex County for most of his life.
Steven was a graduate of Highland Park High School and received a Bachelor's degree in Social Media from Rutgers University. He continued his education at Mercer County College where he honed his skills as a video specialist. Mr. Lakatos was employed as a video specialist over 20 years by the Middlesex County College. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter. Steven was also a prolific writer and had volumes of unpublished short stories on his personal computer.
Mr. Lakatos is survived by his brother, Lawrence Lakatos of Tannersville, Pennsylvania and several cousins. He was previously deceased by his parents, Irma and Stephen Lakatos.
Lawrence will receive friends and visitors from 10 am to 11 am. A memorial service will occur at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home on Monday, November 19 at 11 am. The Reverend Daniel Martian, Pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Livingston, will preside.
