Stella Drost, age 94, of Highland Park, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in Perth Amboy, she has lived in Highland Park for many years.
Stella was an active member of the Highland Park Senior Citizens and a communicant at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Peter Drost in 2007 and a grandson, Roger Weatherwalks.
Stella is survived by her daughter, Patricia Korneluk, two grand-daughters, Suzann Weatherwalks and Kimberly Weatherwalks, five great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Thursday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Burial will be private at the Ukrainian Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery, Perth Amboy.
