Sheryl Comeau Obituary

Sheryl A. (Lombardi) Comeau, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.

Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Sheryl graduated from Battin High School in 1975. In her youth, she worked at Snowflake and Saraceno's bakeries. She worked for Elizabeth General Hospital for several years. Then, moved into bookkeeping which led to a successful 30 year career.

In her spare time, Sheryl loved to read; research family ancestry; enjoyed family camping trips; playing cards and games and especially calling bingo for the Sons of Italy and long-term care facilities.

Sheryl was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Betty Lombardi, and her brother Charles Lombardi, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Dennis A. Comeau, four sisters, Jacqueline Cobilla, Angela Barry, Donna Parrinello, and Patricia O’Connor, 20 nieces and nephews, 35 great-nieces and nephews, and numerous godchildren.

Viewing hours will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, May 19 and 1-3 PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Jaqui‑Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ. A celebration of life service will begin at 3 PM.
