Ruth St. Jacques

Ruth St. Jacques, age 85, of Highland Park, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville.
Born in Pennsylvania, she lived in New Brunswick before moving to Highland Park where she lived for most of her life.
In her early years, Ruth and her husband, Francis, operated a truck catering service. Later, she worked many years as a seamstress for Paris Fashions in New Brunswick. She was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union. Ruth was a former parishioner at St. Theresa R.C. Church in Edison.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francis, in December 1987. Ruth is survived by her son, Francis and his wife, Carol, of Branchburg, a brother, Arthur Bork, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J. and a sister, Gerry Sparano, of Stroudsburg, PA.
