Rosanna Corbett, 75, passed away on November 11, 2025. Born on July 17, 1950, Rosanna spent her early childhood in the Bronx before moving to East Brunswick, New Jersey, where she grew up surrounded by family and lifelong friends. She later moved to Old Bridge in 1979 and eventually settled in Highland Park, where she lived out the rest of her life.
In 1970, Rosanna married the love of her life, George Corbett, with whom she built a warm and loving family. George passed away in 2014, and Rosanna carried his memory with her always. Together, they raised two sons, George J. Corbett and Shawn Corbett. She was also a devoted grandmother to her two grandsons, Brandon and Brian Corbett, who brought immense joy to her life.
Rosanna was a deeply spiritual woman whose faith guided her every step. She was active in her church community, known for offering prayer, comfort, and kindness to anyone in need. Her gentle nature and unwavering belief in the power of faith made her a cherished presence.
She briefly worked for the United States Postal Service and later continued her career at UMDNJ in Environmental Services, where she was admired for her reliability, compassion, and strong work ethic.
Rosanna is survived by her sons, George J. and Shawn; her grandsons, Brandon and Brian; and her three sisters, Francis, Maria, and Josephine. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George, and her loving parents, Marion and Joseph Corvo.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her visitation on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 between 10 am and 12 noon at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, New Jersey. Parking is available immediately behind the funeral home or on S. Adelaide Avenue. She will be laid to rest at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey immediately thereafter.
Rosanna will be forever remembered for her warmth, her faith, and the love she shared so generously with her family and community.
