Gullo, Rose, 94, of Deland, FL passed peacefully in her sleep in Deland, FL on September 9, 2021.
Rose was a former longtime resident of Hoboken, NJ and retired to Hollywood, FL with her husband. She moved in with her daughter in 2013. Mrs. Gullo was an office manager at Sears in Union City, NJ. She was an avid bingo player throughout her years.
Mrs. Gullo was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Hoboken Public Safety Director & Acting Deputy Chief Carmine Gullo (2003). Rose is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Witt and her husband, Myles, and a loving son, Thomas and his wife Kathleen. She has four grandchildren: Melissa, Brian, Ashley, and Matthew and his wife, Cassandra. Rose has one great grandchild: Michael Thomas. There are two sisters surviving: Susan DeKeesrsmeaker and Jacqueline Drewing and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Avenue, Rutherford between the hours of 3 to 7 pm. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 10 am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 149 Copeland Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Fairview Cemetery immediately thereafter. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Daniel Simone, Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home.
