Biography
Rose Barbano, age 88, of New Brunswick, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Willow Creek Care Center in Somerset.Born in Pennsylvania, Rose lived in the New Brunswick area for most of her life. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for many years.
She loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the “sunshine” in her life.
Rose is survived by her daughters; Delores Whaley and her husband, Tom, of New Brunswick and Donna Ball of Long Beach, California; a sister, Angeline Luke and her husband, Ken, of Somerset, three grandchildren; Brian and Jason Whaley and Alexandra Ball, four great-grandchildren; Brittany, R.J., John and Nick as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home followed by entombment at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
