Robert Chrinko, Sr Obituary
Robert J. Chrinko, Sr. age 81, of Monroe Twp., died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at his residence.
Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Piscataway for 40 years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2000.
He was the former owner and floral designer of Robert’s Originals in Highland Park. Robert was on the floral design team for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, NY.
Robert loved to golf and was an avid NY Giants fan.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country from 1952-1953.
Robert was pre-deceased by a daughter, Chrissy Faccone.
He is survived by his former wife, Dorothy Kerekes Chrinko, two sons; Robert Chrinko, Jr. and Patrick Chrinko, five daughters; Darcy Chrinko, Mimmy Mitchell, Leslie Ann Banfitch, Karen Carlon, and Rene Horn, a brother, Frank Chrinko, a sister, Ann Mailey, two grand-daughters and ten grand-sons.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Ladislaus R.C. Church, 215 Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
