Raymond C. Kohler, age 68, of Highland Park, died on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in New Brunswick, he had lived in Somerset before moving to Highland Park in 1979.
Ray had served his country as an Army veteran of The Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Ray had worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in East Brunswick.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Cathie, in 2011, his two brothers, Christopher and Danny Kohler and his parents, Walter and Ruth Kohler.
Ray is survived by two daughters, Michelle Torsiello and her husband, Michael Torsiello, Jr. and Erika Kohler, a son, Thomas Kohler and his wife, Tiffany, eleven grandchildren, Samantha, Marissa, Michael, Vanessa, Ava, Michael, Alexa, Tommy, Jr., Victoria, Joey and Troy, and his mother-in-law, Eleanor Manfre.
Relatives and friends may call from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A uneral Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be private.
