Peter Singer

Peter Singer, 99, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Singer moved to Surfside Beach, South Carolina in 2014.  He was born in Romania and lived in Highland Park, NJ and Kendall Park, NJ for most of his live.  Peter was a tailor and worked for several Middlesex County area shops and retired from Wallach's in Menlo Park, NJ many years ago.  He was an avid beekeeper in Highland Park and Kendall Park.

Peter was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Singer (nee Muller) in 1999.

He is survived by his daughter, Lorraine Belcher, and her husband, Frederick, of Collingswood, NJ and a daughter, Elizabeth Herzog, and her husband, Kenneth, of Surfside Beach, South Carolina.  Peter is survived by two grandsons, Paul DelGesso and Gregory Herzog.

Relatives and friends can pay their respects on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 between the hours of 10 am and 11 am.  A religious blessing will be held at the funeral home at 11 am.   Peter will be laid to rest with his wife at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Woodbridge, NJ immediately after the service.
