Patricia M. Spampinato, age 86, of Edison, died on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at her home.
Born in New Brunswick, she had graduated from Highland Park High School and lived in Highland Park for several years before moving to Edison almost 45 years ago.
Patricia had worked as a secretary at Bristol-Myers-Squibb for many years before she retired.
She enjoyed working on counter cross-stitch but most of all, she loved going out to lunch and shopping.
Patricia is survived by her five children; Carol Fisher and her husband, Robert, Bruce Graci and his wife, Kathy, Arlene Spampinato, Wayne Graci and his wife, Janet, and Teresa Schulte and her husband, Jeffrey, a sister, Corinne Stubblebine and her God-daughter, Joyce Tomlinson, both of Florida. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. (www.jkfuneralhome.com) Funeral services will be held at 9:00 am. Monday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s memory to support Melanoma research and send them to the Cancer Institute of NJ Foundation, 120 Albany Street, Tower #2, 5th Floor, New Brunswick, N.J. 08901.
