Patricia Lincln Katz, age 82, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Pavillions in Princeton, N.J. surrounded with the loving care of family and friends. She was born in Easton, PA and was a graduate of Bayonne N.J. High School. A long-time area resident, she raised her family in Metuchen, N.J.
Pat was well-known was known for her quick wit, her sense of humor, her love of wordplay, and most importantly, her devotion to her children. She enjoyed gardening, ballet, the arts in New York City, and she cherished her summers on Block Island, Rhode Island.
She was an accomplished cook and pastry chef. As a recreational therapist at various local nursing homes, she brought her love of singing and artistic gifts into the lives of the elderly.
She is survived by her children; Stephanie Perold of Pennington, N.J., Neil Katz of Caratunk, Maine. Martha Katz of Metuchen, and step-daughter, Linda Glincman of Hillsborough. She is also survived by her in-laws Etienne Perold and Catherine Katz, siblings, Robert Lincoln, Maryellen Connolly, and Margaret Blaha, grandchildren, Nicholas, Aniella, Lenore, Todd Jr., Matthew, Michelle, Jason, Madeline and great-grandchildren, Elijah and Amelia. She was pre-deceased by Lewis Katz and her children, Todd and Jenifer.
Pat was a member of the Metuchen Presbyterian Church; her memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 1st at the Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton, N.J.
