Olga Pochesci passed away January 6, 2021 at the age of 95. Olga was born April 29, 1925 in Leominster, Massachusetts to Michele and Immacolata Colecchi. She was one of five siblings. She married Anthony J. Pochesci Sr., also of Leominster, and they moved to Highland Park, New Jersey more than 65 years ago. She took great pleasure in raising her family. She also took pride in working many years for the Bricklayers Pension and Benefits Fund. After retiring from that job, she continued to work well into her 80s. Olga spent her time caring for her family and many friends. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by Anthony, her husband of 52 years; her sisters Mary Trombetta and Jennie Bonina; her brothers Hugo Colecchi and Peter Colecchi; brother-in-law Gilbert Pochesci Sr.; sisters-in-law Eda Watson, Dominica Pisciotta, and Angelina McQuade; and all their spouses.
She is survived by her three children: Sandra Krupinski and her husband Henry; Linda Pochesci; and Anthony Pochesci Jr. and his wife Judi. She also leaves behind four grandchildren: Brian (Beth) Krupinski, Jennifer (Chris) Forbes, Jessica Pochesci, and Lauren Savoie (Rob Hilferty); five great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law Gilbert Pochesci Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, Jan 11, 2021 at 10 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, Raritan Ave & S. 5th Ave, Highland Park. Due to pandemic restrictions, burial is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Olga’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
