Noel Estonactoc, a devoted family man, filled with faith in God and sharp observer of life, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Somerville, NJ, surrounded by family. He was 75 years old.
Born in the Philippines on April 7, Noel lived a life marked by integrity, humor, and unwavering perseverance. He had a remarkable ability to notice what others missed—a quiet observer with a quick wit and a sarcastic sense of humor that always brought a smile to those around him.
Through every season of life, Noel leaned on his faith and his fierce love for his family. He was a pillar of strength and consistency, never one to give up even in the face of life’s hardest challenges. In his final years, he showed incredible courage and determination, fighting every day with dignity and resolve.
Noel is survived by his beloved wife, Amelia; his loving children and daughter-in-law, Barbara, Karen, Carlo and Amanda; his treasured grandchildren, Kyara, Nyla, Slade and Noelle; and his siblings, Mary Gay, Viveca Joy and Joel; along with numerous relatives and friends who will forever remember his presence, wit, and wisdom. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosario and Manuel Estonactoc.
Whether he was offering a remark that made you laugh out loud or quietly observing to make sure everyone was okay, Noel had a way of making you feel seen and cared for. He was the kind of person you could count on—steady and loyal, without expecting anything in return.
Though Noel may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in every quiet act of strength, every smile shared at a memory, and every moment of faith in something greater.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his visitation at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ on Friday, May 16, 2025 between the hours of 4 pm and 6 pm. Parking is available in the lot immediately behind the funeral home or on S. Adelaide Avenue.
