Nick Puppo, 45, originally from Coram NY, passed away suddenly but peacefully after complications from a car accident.
He was a graduate of Longwood High School in Long Island, NY and spent his most favorite years writing. A philosopher and intellect, he wanted to change the world, and had big plans to do so through his writing.
His greatest joy was hanging out with his 7-year old nephew, and happily taught him all about books and art expression (always trying to read him Ovid). In addition, he introduced him to the Star Wars trilogy, which has had a lasting impact. Nick would give anyone the shirt off his back or the last dime in his bank account. A caring heart and a generous soul, we will cherish his memory.
Nick is survived by his parents, Albert & Ellen Puppo, and his sister Amanda Puppo-Firtek, brother-in-law James Firtek and nephew Jase along with caring friends and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations go to a favorite charity, or his favorite, no-cost knowledge website - Wikipedia, to continue on Nick’s love of “for the people” learning.
