Nancy Giaramita

Nancy Giaramita, age 91, of Highland Park, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, September 13, 2015.

Born in Amarillo, Texas, she had lived in California and Brooklyn before moving to Highland Park many years ago. She was a communicant and former member of the Altar Rosary Society and Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park. Nancy was also member of St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church and Highland Park Senior Citizens Groups.

Nancy had worked many years as a machine operator for Revlon, Inc,. in Edison before her retirement.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank, in 1989.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Janet Puri of Somerset, N.J.; a son, Jack Giaramita and his wife, Lorraine, of Carmel, New York; a sister, Frances Lonsbury of Michigan, two grandchildren; Justin Puri and his wife, Cristina and Jennifer Sampson and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alissa Sampson.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway.
