Matthew Chandler Webster died in Highland Park on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born in New Brunswick on March 20, 1972, and lived in New Brunswick and Highland Park for most of his life. Matt graduated from Highland Park High School, attended Middlesex County College, Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts, and graduated from Johnson and Wales University with an AA degree in Culinary Arts. He worked in the food industry and as a self-employed contractor in his own business, Friendly Services.
Matt is survived by: his father John Webster and his wife Connie, his mother Molly Harrison and her husband John; 3 brothers: Clay Webster and his wife Sue, John R. Terry, Boyd Harrison and his wife Jess; a nephew: Sam, 2 nieces: Ellie and Olivia, several cousins, his aunt and uncle: Jamie and Andy Gill; and his grandmother Penny Webster.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Elijah’s Promise in New Brunswick or a favorite charity.
