Beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Mary Reasso (nee Cavall) passed away peacefully on February 16, 2011 at the age of 84. Mary was born in Bayonne, N.J. where she grew up with her siblings, Jay, Rose, Robert, Ralph and her twin sister, Annie. She was married to George Aldo Maurice Reasso and raised three children, Barbara, Robert and Rosemarie in Jersey City and Hazlet.
Mary was happiest when surrounded by her family who will miss her beautiful smile, warm heart and generous spirit. She was loved by all who met her and enjoyed the pleasure of her company. She loved soccer, was an avid reader and loved movies.
She is survived by her brother, Ralph and his wife, Patricia, daughter, Barbara and her husband Eric Harris, son, Robert and his wife Michelle, daughter Rosemarie, niece, Grace Ryan, grandchildren, Chris, Tim, Danielle and Bobby, great-grandchildren Ben, Nate and James, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects to the family on Saturday, March 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Aldersgate Methodist Church, 568 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, N.J. Please join the family in honoring Mary’s life at a Memorial Service to follow immediately at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in remembrance of Mary with the Alzheimer’s Association http://www.alz.org/join the cause donate.asp) or a Living Memorial http://www.mytreememorial.com) or a random act of kindness for a person or animal in need.
Arrangements and a private cremation were handled by the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, Highland Park.
