Mary Pizanis

Mary C. Pizanis, 80, of Highland Park, passed away on Tuesday, May 31st at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was born in West Hazelton, PA and has lived in Highland Park for the past 53 years. Mary graduated from the School of Nursing, Allentown Hospital in 1957. She worked as an RN before raising a family and becoming a homemaker.

Mary was predeceased by her husband. Michael T. Pizanis, a daughter, Carolyn Pizanis and a brother, Ronald Yanski. She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Pizanis, two sons, Michael R. Pizanis and John Pizanis, a daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Mark Sturtevant, and three grandsons, Matthew, Nicholas and Michael.

Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday, June 6th at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. during the visiting hours.
