Mary Merz

Mary Merz, age 94, of Manchester Township, N.J., died Thursday, July 2, 2009 at the Essex Park Skilled Care and Rehab Center in Beverly, Massachusetts.
Mary was active in politics and ran for town council in Westfield. Family and friends admired her love for nature, her vigor, and her zeal for chocolate.
A loving mother, Mary will be remembered for her gentleness. She is survived by her children; Diane Serbe-Viola, Gregory Serbe, Deborah Farrell, and Donna Davis, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 7th at the Funeral Home.
