Mark Botteon Obituary

Mark A. Botteon, age 48, of Highland Park died on July 4, 2009 from complications of FTD - ALS Lou Gehrigs Disease. Graduating with his BS in Mechanical Engineering from NJIT in 1985, Mark's specialty was power generation and engines, including co-designer of two marine application patents. Mark also operated his own business, M-B Mechanical Subcontracting in which he fabricated custom metal components for construction. Mark was an avid model train collector, gardener, cook, and baker as well a devoted communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park where he was baptized in 1961; he served faithfully for many years as the Church Count Team Supervisor and Treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Chapter 6306.
