Marissa Dawn Kohler

Marissa Dawn Kohler, 21, of Highland Park, New Jersey passed away suddenly.

Marissa was a 2021 graduate of Innovate Salon Academy in South Plainfield and loved her field.  She said if you love what you do for a living, you will never work a day in your life.  Marissa enjoyed the small things in life.  She was an animal lover and thoroughly enjoyed her days at the beach and swimming in the ocean.  Her favorite beach was Lavallette, NJ.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Donna (nee Calantoni) Reap, Raymond Kohler, and Catherine (nee Manfre) Kohler.

Marissa is survived by her loving parents, Tiffany Marie (nee Reap) and Thomas Craig Kohler, her grandfather, Joseph Reap and his companion Deborah Urbanski, and her great grandmother, Eleanor Manfre.  She is also survived by her siblings: Vanessa, Ava, Alexa, Thomas, Jr., Victoria, Joseph, Troy, and Elisha.  Marissa is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Michelle and Michael Torsiello, Erika Kohler and Michael Oliver, Joseph and Diane Reap, Jr., and Jeffrey and Stephanie Reap.  There are also numerous cousins and extended family members.  Marissa especially had a special place in her heart for her cats: Chester, Lucy, Boo, and Pepper.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Sunday, November 20, 2022 between the hours of 2 pm and 5 pm at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904.  A Celebration of Life will occur at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.

Parking is available in the parking lot behind the funeral home or by using street parking along S. Adelaide Avenue.
