Marion Kohlhepp, age 96, of Highland Park, died on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the Parker Home in Piscataway.
Born in New Brunswick, she had lived in Highland Park since 1968. Marion graduated from the New Brunswick High School, Class of 1933. She went on to attend the Pace Institute in New York City.
She was a communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park and a member of the Highland Park Senior Citizens. She volunteered with St. Peter’s University Hospital Auxiliary.
Marion had worked in management for Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc. in New York City for 44 years before retiring in 1979. She enjoyed retirement immensely and loved to travel.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, William and Theresa Kohlhepp, a sister, Annabelle Nicholson Wright, two brothers, Francis Kohlhepp and William K. Kohlhepp and two nephews, John F. Nicholson and Donald Kohlhepp.
Marion is survived by a niece, Debbie Nicholson of Hillsborough, a nephew, William Kohlhepp Jr. and his wife, Carolyn, of Hillsborough, a niece, Patricia Kohlhepp of Doylestown, PA and several great nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends may call from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marion’s memory to St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church.
