Marie Emmons

Marie C. Emmons, age 90, of Highland Park, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at the McCarrick Care Center in Somerset.

Born in Woodbridge, she lived in Highland Park for most of her life.

Marie was a communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park and was active with the Altar Rosary Society.

She had worked for many years as an accounting supervisor for New Jersey Bell in Trenton, N.J.

She was pre-deceased by her brother, Harry Emmons.

Marie is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Wright of Highland Park and Evelyn Merrill of Piscataway, a sister-in-law, Sylvia Emmons of Michigan, three nephews, Douglas Merrill, Peter Emmons and Paul Emmons, two nieces, Diana Merrill and Barbara Seydam, and three great-nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Somerville, N.J.
