Maria (Peters) Ayash

Maria Ayash, 77, of Highland Park, NJ passed away at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick on Friday, February 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Maria was born in Germany and emigrated to New York in 1950 and moved to Highland Park where she remained the rest of her life.  She was a graduate of Highland Park High School in 1964.

Ms. Ayash is survived by her longtime companion Keith Soden, and her children, Robert Ayash, Sarah Ayash, and Leslie Ayash and his wife, Lily.  She has one grandson, Connor.

Maria was a medical secretary at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and retired several years ago.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 between the hours of 11 am and 1 pm at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park.  Maria will be laid to rest at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
