Margaret Sabo, age 98, of Edison, died Friday, January 22, 2010 at the Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge, N.J. Born in New Brunswick, Margaret lived there and in Highland Park before settling in Edison where she lived for many years before moving to Old Bridge two years ago. She had worked for Ethicon, Inc. for 40 years before retiring in 1973. Margaret loved trips to Atlantic City, playing bingo, and was an active member of the Edison Senior Citizens. She was a former communicant of St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Laszlo and Mary Toth Bogarthy, her husband, Joseph J. Sabo, Sr., a son, Joseph J. Sabo, Jr. and two sisters, Helen Paulison and Julia Bender. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Dudash and her husband, Michael of Naples, FL, seven grandchildren; Bobby, Michael, Jimmy, Wayne, and Joyce, all of Florida and Joe and Mary Beth, both of NJ, numerous great-grandchildren, and two nieces, Lillian Hortz of Cherry Hill, N.J. and Hazel Lonesak of Branenton, FL. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, January 28th at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday immediately following the visitation. Cremation will be private.
