Margaret (Andrusko) DeMaria

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret DeMaria, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. Margaret was a beautiful, kind, and sweet woman whose generosity and loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Margaret grew up in Passaic, New Jersey. In 1957, she married the love of her life, Vincent DeMaria, and together they shared 55 wonderful years of marriage before Vincent’s passing in 2013. She spent many years in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, where she raised her family and built lifelong friendships. After retirement, she and Vincent enjoyed spending their years together in Barnegat, New Jersey. Following Vincent’s passing, Margaret carried on with the same strength, grace, and love that defined her life.

Margaret dedicated 50 years of her career to ITT Industries, where she was known for her hard work, loyalty, and commitment.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent DeMaria, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. While her family takes comfort in knowing they are reunited, her absence leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her.

Known for her warm heart and selfless nature, Margaret was always willing to help others and never hesitated to share her love and generosity. She found joy in simple things, especially shopping and ordering items from QVC, which brought her endless entertainment and excitement. More than anything, she treasured time spent with her family and loved being surrounded by those she cared for most.

Margaret leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her sons, Gary DeMaria and Jeffrey DeMaria; her sisters, Anne Pacifico and Dorothy Andrusko; and her beloved grandchildren, Gregory DeMaria, Michael DeMaria, Ashley Rigopoulos and her husband, Christos Rigopoulos, Austin DeMaria and his wife, April DeMaria, and Devin DeMaria.

Margaret’s kindness, warmth, generosity, and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. Her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she leaves behind.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904. Out of respect for the family, a limited viewing will be held at the funeral home. Guests are asked to arrive promptly at 10:30 AM for a private viewing. The family will then proceed to BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ for a 1:00 PM chapel service, followed immediately by burial.

The family appreciates everyone’s understanding and cooperation during this difficult time and thanks all who have offered their love, prayers, and support.
