Biography

Margaret A. “Peggy” Conover, age 78, of Rocky Mount, NC, formerly of Highland Park, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC.

Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Highland Park for most of her life before moving to Rocky Mount, NC. in 2003.

She loved animals especially her canine companion “Tilly” that never left her side.

Peggy was pre-deceased by her son, Frank D. Conover, Jr. in 2008.

She is survived by her husband, Frank D. Conover, two daughters, Jacqueline Conover of Wilson, NC and Patricia Henry and her husband, Kevin of Rocky Mount, NC., a grandson, Jacob “Jake” Conover of Rocky Mount, NC., a grandson, Kevin Henry his wife, Elaine of Rocky Mount, NC, two great-grandchildren who are identical twins, Sean and Scott Henry,both of Rocky Mount, NC, a sister-in-law, Monica Conover of Rocky Mount, NC, two nephews, Eddie Hobor of Highland Park and Frank Hobor and his wife, Carol of Norfolk VA, a grand-daughter, Kimberly Spivey and her husband, Ted of Greenville, NC and a cousin, Bill Mischler and his wife, Joan of Florida.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home followed by the entombment at Resurrection Burial Park Mausoleum, Piscataway, N.J. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the ASPCA.
