M. Borrelli

M. James Borrelli, age 84, died September 9, 2010 in Boynton Beach, Florida where he had lived in retirement for the past 18 years.

Formerly a resident of Highland Park, Jim Borrelli, a CPA, was the principle partner of Borrelli, Hodulik adn Morrison, an accounting firm based in Highland Park. Born on January 2, 1926 in Rochester, NY, Jim overcame modest beginnings to become successful in business, in love, and in life. Jim was renown for his intellect, even temperment, and his moral certitude. He moved to New Jersey following his Army tour in Europe during World War II and married Florence Giannone, the love of his life, a marriage that endured 63 years. Together, they raised four children and a niece and enjoyed a life filled with love, laughter and achievement.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, his daughters, Anne Johnson, Francine Cataldi and her husband, Peter, and Geraldine Borelli Shea, his son, Carl Borrelli and his wife, Candy and a niece, Vivian Morra, and her husband, Anthony. He is also survived by his brother, George Borrelli of Buffalo, NY, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


Relatives and friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick, N.J.
