Leigh Davis, of Highland Park, died suddenly and unexpectedly on March 3, 2011.
She was born on March 14, 1958 in Elizabeth and lived throughout New Jersey, Louisiana, and Florida. She changed the world for the better through her activism, teaching and writing. She was loved by all who knew her and her legacy will endure for generations to come.
She is survived by her beloved son, Max Schnur; husband, Bruno Oriti; step-children, Joey and Greta; mother, Helene Davis; brothers, Kevin and Tim Davis; sisters, Paula Jean Story and Jacqueline Bullock; and 7 nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8th at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19-21 South Second Avenue, Highland Park.
