Karen Kramer

Karen Kramer, 73, of East Rutherford, NJ died on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Hackensack University Medical Center. 

Karen was born in Passaic and was a lifelong resident of East Rutherford.  She was employed as a Ticketing Manager for 25 years at the Brendan Byrne/Izod Arena. 

Ms. Kramer is survived by her loving daughter Kristin (nee Marthinson) Borrelli,  son in law, Jason and two grandchildren, Brendan and Reagan.  Karen is also survived by her brother Peter and his wife Arlene Kramer of Wanaque, NJ.  As well as her two nieces, Cynthia Stettner and Kimberly Schwarzlow.  Karen cherished her friendship with Joey and Judy Brower and Melissa Puleo.  She was predeceased by her loving long time companion, James "Jimmy" Bertone (2007).

Karen, often referred to as “Cher” by the kids, loved listening to music, tanning by the pool, spoiling her grandchildren, sipping her Black Box wine and being with family and friends. She will be greatly missed and forever in our memories.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the Warner-Wozniak Funeral Home, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ on Thursday, August 1, 2024 between 4 pm and 8 pm.  Her funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the funeral home.  She will be interred at St. Michael's Cemetery, South Hackensack, NJ immediately after the service.  Arrangements by Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, Highland Park, NJ.
