Joseph Osyp Rinnyk

Joseph "Osyp" Rinnyk, 101 years, of Milltown, NJ passed away at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 after a brief illness surrounded by his children.

Osyp was born in Stariy Sambir, Ukraine and came to the United States many years ago.  He was a maintenance mechanic for General Cable in New Brunswick, NJ

Mr. Rinnyk is survived by his daughter, Olga Jackiw and her husband, Roman of Derbyshire, England and three sons: Roman of Milltown, NJ, Peter and his wife, Monica of Brick, NJ, and Slavko of Washington Township, NJ.  He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ on Monday evening, May 22, 2023 from 7 to 9 pm.  A prayer service will be held at 8 pm.  A Mass of the Christian Burial will occur on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10 am at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, 80 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ.  Osyp will be laid to rest next to his wife at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, South Bound Brook, NJ.
