John B. Gorman, age 66, of New Brunswick, died Monday evening, February 10, 2014 at his residence.
Born in Jersey City, he has lived in Edison and New Brunswick for the past 50 years. John adored all animals and supported local animal shelters.
Mr. Gorman had worked as a security supervisor for Macy’s at the Menlo Park Mall. In addition, he had his own private investigation practice.
John was pre-deceased by his father, John in 1989 and his mother, Sophia in 2009.
John is survived by his wife, Victoria Lundrigan Gorman, a daughter, Valerie Gorman, a son, Jay Gorman and his wife, Amy; two grandchildren, Devin and Riley Gorman, a sister, Sandy LaPlante and her husband, Fred and their children, Mike and Chelsea La Plante; a sister-in-law, Jacky Albertson and her husband, Norman and their children, Garrett and Jeanette Albertson and his best friend, Bob Trenta.
Relatives and friends may call from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 16th at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17th at St. Peter the Apostle R.C. Church, New Brunswick. Cremation will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the A.S.P.C.A.
