Jeanne A. Wagner, formerly of Metuchen, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Parker Nursing Home in Piscataway. She will fondly be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Jeanne was born and raised in Chicago, IL before moving to Metuchen in 1957. Following this time, she also resided in Sharon, CT and Sarasota, FL. She graduated from Rutgers University and proudly received her B.A. at the age of 57 years.
Jeanne was a dedicated parent volunteer within the Saint Francis of Metuchen and Metuchen public school systems. In addition to raising a large and loving family, she enjoyed classical music, piano and travel.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert; and her children, Marilyn, Barbara, Thomas, Philip, George, Charles and Jeffrey and will be missed dearly by her 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Catholic Community of St. Matthias Church, 168 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Somerset.
