Irma (Kerti) Lakatos

Lakatos, Irma (nee Kerti), died on Sept 16, 2018 at the age of 91. Mrs. Lakatos was born in Fairfield, CT and lived in Bridgeport, CT before moving to Highland Park, NJ.

Mrs. Lakatos was a graduate of the Booth & Bayliss Commercial School, Bridgeport, CT. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She previously worked in the Registrar’s Office and her employment at Rutgers totaled more than 18 years.

Irma was predeceased by her husband, Stephen, in 1994. She is survived by her sons, Steven of Edison, NJ and Lawrence of Netcong, NJ. She is also survived by one brother, Louis Kerti of Ocala, FL.

A memorial mass will be offered at Trinity United Methodist Church, 417 Montgomery St, Highland Park on Monday, September 24 at 10 am.
