In Loving Memory of Hilda Marin (March 21, 1959 – December 11, 2024)
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, and sister, Hilda Marin, who left this world on December 11, 2024, at the age of 65, surrounded by her loved ones. Hilda was born in Liborina, Colombia, on March 21, 1959, to Jose Aguedo Patino and Alejandrina Arroyave. She was the second of seven siblings whom she deeply loved.
Hilda was a loving wife to her husband, Jorge Marin, with whom she shared 35 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to one another. Her love for Jorge was evident in all that she did, and she cherished their journey together. Hilda’s heart was also filled with boundless love for her three children—Kelly (deceased), Anderson, and Johnatan—whom she treasured. She was the epitome of selflessness, always putting the needs of her family before her own and doing everything in her power to make sure they were cared for and supported.
A woman of great faith, Hilda’s love for the Lord Jesus Christ was steadfast and unshakeable. Her spiritual devotion was an integral part of who she was, and it carried her through both the joys and challenges of life. Throughout her life, Hilda worked tirelessly, demonstrating incredible strength and perseverance. She was a woman of integrity, with a generous spirit that touched the lives of everyone around her.
Hilda’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and dedication. She gave herself without hesitation, whether it was caring for her family, friends, or anyone in need. Her kindness and warmth will be remembered forever, and the impact she made on this world will never be forgotten.
Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we take comfort in knowing that Hilda’s love will continue to live on in each of us. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will remain with us always.
Hilda Marin was a woman who lived her life with grace, faith, and a heart full of love. We are eternally grateful for the time we had with her and the example she set for all of us. Rest in peace, dear Mother. You will always be loved, always be remembered, and always be in our hearts.
