Hector M. Santiago passed away gracefully on February 6, 2021 in Highland Park, NJ surrounded by his family.
Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Miguel A. Santiago and Ezequiela Negron. He was the domestic partner of Loretgis Sandoval where they shared 17 years together. He is survived by his partner: Lois Sandoval; daughters Jessica I. Esteves, Belinda & Roxanne Santiago; grandchildren: Andrew, Luis Jr, Jasmine and Benjamin M. Esteves, Wayne Jr., Jeremiah Roman, son in law; and sisters: Priscilla, Raquel, Martha, Abigail and Nerdis; and brothers: Jose, Hiriam, and Miguel. There are many other family members including nieces and nephews.
He retired from Siminok Moving Services where he worked as a truck driver.
He will be remembered as always making his family laugh, his love for cars and being an avid fisherman. He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He is predecessor by father Miguel A. Santiago & Ezequiela Santiago.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 11, 2021 between 10:30 am and 12 noon. There will be a prayer service at 12 noon.
Visitors are reminded to wear a face covering prior to entering the funeral home and observe a social distance while inside.
The final committal is private.
