Favretto, Guerrino, age 104, of Toms River, New Jersey quietly passed away at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Favretto was born to Ruggerro and Gasperina in Salvore, Italy. He emigrated to the United States many years ago. Guerrino retired to Toms River after living several years in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Nerina (née Giurgevich) and his son, Julian and his wife JeanE, of Edison. Guerrino also loved his grandchildren, Christian, Brian, and Heather Favretto-Gonzales. He also has five great grandchildren, Nathan, Jonathan, Brianna, Brooke, and Brady.
Guerrino worked as a custodian for the Holy Rosary Catholic School in Perth Amboy for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ between the hours of 1 pm and 5 pm. There is a park lot immediately behind the funeral home to accommodate cars. Otherwise, parking is available on S. Adelaide Avenue. Please see the attendant is you cannot find parking.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered at St. Paul the Apostle RC Church, corner of Raritan Avenue & S. 6th Avenue, Highland Park on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 10 am. The interment of his remains will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery, Oregon & New Brunswick Ave, Hopelawn, New Jersey
