It is with greatest of sadness that the Zielinski Family announces their mother Gloria A. Zielinski (nee Ruthman), age 94, has entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 10, 2025. Gloria is preceded by her husband Matthew and son Francis, her brother George Ruthman Sr., her sisters Catherine “Joan” Arbucci and husband Louis, and Jane Urspruch and husband Charlies.
Loving mother of Gloria Visnosky, Gayle Romano, Matthew (his wife Caridad), James (his wife Mary), Barbara Cahill (her Husband Thomas), Veronica Berberena (her Husband Joseph) and William. Loving Aunt (second Mom) to Lillian Jane Urspruch and her two boys Christian and Jonathan. Gloria is also survived by ten grandchildren, Christopher Romano (his wife Svetlana) John Romano, Cortney Romano, Daniel Sheets, Rebecca Colon (her husband Chris), Gissell Hightower, Heidi Zielinski, Lisvette Zielinski, Tyler Zielinski (his wife Ailis) and Amanda Burnett (her wife Michele) fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Along with several nieces and nephews.
Gloria lived most of her life in Hoboken NJ. After retiring from the Hoboken Board of Education, she settled in Covered Bridges in Manalapan NJ. Gloria’s love in life was not only her children and grandchildren and enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and bingo, encompassed with a Pina Colada and Sangria. May her memory be forever in our hearts for nothing can ever take away a love the heart holds dear. Greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be handled by Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 S. Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, NJ 08904. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 2 pm to 6 pm. Parking is available immediately behind the funeral home or on S. Adelaide Avenue.
