Gerald Chevalier

Gerald Thomas Chevalier, age 68, of Highland Park, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Victoria, of 40 years of wedded bliss and a loving son, Neal. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mary G. Maggio, and a sister-in-law Anna Marie Maggio, both of Highland Park.

Gerald received a BS and MBA from the University of Dayton, in Dayton, Ohio, and worked for 32 years at the Middlesex County Probation Department, retiring as an Administration Division Supervisor. He volunteered as an instructional league baseball manager for the Highland Park Recreation Department. He was a 3rd Degree, and 60/40 Club Member, of the Sayreville NJ Knights of Columbus, Council #2061.

Gerald was pre-deceased by his parents, Neal and Marie Chevalier of Sayreville, N.J. and his father-in-law, Peter Maggio, of Highland Park, N.J. A private cremation was held under the direction of the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, Highland Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Highland Park Volunteer First Aid Squad.
