Georgina Rangel

Georgina Veneranda Rangel, age 86, of Milltown, died on Sunday, April 2. 2017 at St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J.

Born in Rodas, Cuba, she lived in the Jersey City/Bayonne Area for many years before moving to Milltown. She attended Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church in Milltown.

Georgina worked for 30 years as a lead financial coordinator for Merrill Lynch Co. in New York City before her retirement.

Georgina was a loving and generous mother and grandmother and will be missed greatly. She will be in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Anne Rangel, Gerardo Sorondo, Jorge Sorondo, and Julio Sorondo. eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C. Church, 233 North Main Street, Milltown, N.J. Arrangements are under the direction of the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, Highland Park, N.J.
