Ella Kady

Ella M. Kady, age 97, of Highland Park, died Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Arista Care at Cedar Oaks in South Plainfield.

Born in South River, she had lived in Highland Park for most of her life.

Ella had worked for over 30 years for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick before her retirement many years ago.

She was a communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park (now Transfiguration of the Lord Parish) and also a member of its’ Senior Citizens Group in addition to being a former member of the Highland Park Senior Citizens Group.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Peter M. Kady, Jr., her son, Peter Kady III, and three brothers, Joseph, John and Stephen Polgar.

Ella is survived by her son and his wife, Ronald and Sandra Kady, seven grandchildren, Debra Shipers, Michael Kady, Paul Kady, Wendy Kady, Robert Kady, John Brader, and Kelli Keeton, 11 great-grandchildren, Nikki, Jack, Joseph, Katherine, Cassey, Taylor, Russell, Kayla, Kystren, Bailey and John.

Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 25th at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 26th at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church (Transfiguration of the Lord Parish) in Highland Park. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park Mausoleum, Piscataway.
