Elizabeth Madeline Prow, age 99, of Highland Park, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Hillsborough.
Born in New Brunswick, she married Rudolph Carl Prow on September 21, 1940. Betty lived in Highland Park from 1948 to 2010. She attended St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church (Transfiguration of the Lord Parish) Highland Park.
Betty was a very giving person and a loving mother, dedicated to raising three sons and supporting her husband. She had a witty sense of humor and was a kick to be around. She was skilled in painting and found time for crafts and fine art throughout her life. Betty had worked as a beautician for several years until 1951.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Rudolph C. Prow in 1983 and her son, Rudolph Prow in 2005.
Betty is survived by her sons; Richard and Robert Prow and her grandchildren, Stacey, Scott, Ben and Julia.
A funeral service and entombment will be held at 11:30 a.m on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the Resurrection Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Piscataway.
