Elizabeth “Betty” Crea, age 86, of Brick, formerly of Highland Park, died Thursday, September 2, 2010 at The Worthington Assisted Living Facility in Brick.
Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, she lived in Highland Park for most of her life.
She had been active with the Highland Park Senior Citizens and was a former communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park.
Betty was a former member of the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Betty had worked as a telephone operator/receptionist at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick for many years before her retirement.
She had worked as a distribution clerk for both Johnson & Johnson and Ronson Lighters many years ago.
Betty had been pre-deceased by her husbands; Anthony Crea, Bill Graff, and George Marsh, a twin sister, Helen Nasdeo in April of this year, and two brothers, Robert and William Orchard.
She is survived by her son, Gary Marsh of Spotswood, N.J., two grand-daughters, Kristina Marsh and Heather Podlesny, and two great-grandchildren; Dillon and Hailey Podlesny.
