Eileen Dunne Obituary

Eileen A. Dunne, age 85, of Metuchen, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at her home. Born in Woodbridge, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Florence Dunigan Dunne. Eileen lived in Woodbridge before moving to Metuchen in 1972.
She had worked for 30 years as a quality control inspector for the Raritan Arsenal in Edison and then at the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia before retiring in 1972.
Eileen was a communicant at St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in Metuchen and was a member of the Council of Catholic Women.
She was a member of the Metuchen AARP and the Borough Improvement League. Eileen was a member of the JFK Medical Center Auxiliary and loved playing cards and woodworking in her spare time.
Eileen is survived by her nieces and nephews; Clement Watson, Brandon Watson, Nancy Marenakos, Geren Fauth, Mary Watson, Florence Church and Barbara Church. She is also survived by her loving friend, Ruth Jaqui Skudlarek and her children, Mary Ruth Sudzina, William Jaqui Skudlarek, Kathryn Agnes Skudlarek, Joseph Paul Skudlarek, Ann Eileen Skudlarek, Noel Jeanne Stuhlman and John Peter Skudlarek.

Viewing: 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday
