Edward Michna

Edward A. Michna, age 83, of Highland Park, died Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Kindred Hospital in Rahway, N.J.
Born in Red Barn, PA, he has lived in Highland Park for most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and loved summer vegetable gardening. He was a former communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council. Ed had worked as a tool and die maker/machinist for Singer Sewing Co., Lockheed Electronics, Hyatt Bearings Division of General Motors in Clark, N.J. and Kearfott Co. in Little Falls, N.J.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Catherine, in 1996.
Surviving are his children; Edward Michna and his wife, Keria, of Wellesley, MA, Tammy Bullek and her husband, David, of Westfield, and Carol Michna and her husband, Sebastian Sasso of White House Station, N.J., a sister, Margaret Kozele of Homer City, PA and five grandchildren, Zachary, Jake and Katie Bullek and Tyler and Colin Michna.
