Biography
Dorothy J. Kish, age 76, of Highland Park, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in New Brunswick, she resided most of her life in Highland Park. Dorothy was employed by St. Peter's Hospital as a nursing unit clerk for ten years. In 1970, she began her employment at the Arc of New Jersey as executive secretary until her retirement in 1995. During this same period of time, she also worked with the New Jersey Camp Jaycee as registrar. After her retirement, she continued to work for Camp Jaycee until June 2008.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Frank S. Kish in 1970 and her parents, Geza and Elizabeth Angal.
Surviving are a son, Frank S. Kish, Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Sedona, AZ, two daughters, Diane E. Seaboldt and her husband, Glen, with whom she lived and Barbara A. Hoyos and her husband, Gabriel of Dayton, N.J., eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She had a special love and bond between her grandchildren, Glen Jr., Matthew and Jessica Seaboldt.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, N.J. Interment will follow at Frankin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated for the Seaboldt Childrens' Education Fund in care of Diane Seaboldt, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, N.J. 08904.
