David Lampen

David A. Lampen, 68, of Edison died Monday, November 2nd at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital.Born in Greenwich, CT, David was the beloved son of Miriam Walsh Lampen and the late Dr. J.Oliver Lampen. He was a graduate of the Rutgers Preparatory School, Princeton University andRutgers University Law School. He had a distinguished career as a court administrator servingas the Deputy Clerk of the NJ Supreme Court, the Clerk of the Alaska Supreme Court and theClerk of the US Court of Federal Claims and was employed by ImmixGroup. David was an avidstamp collector, lover of dogs, devoted fan of his children's athletic pursuits and student ofMiddle Eastern history. Surviving are the joys of his life, his son Captain (US Army) DavidAllan (Jessamyn), daughter Jennifer, and former wife Mary Ellen Flaherty. Loving brother ofPeter (Barbara) and Richard (Susan). Funeral services will be held at Christ Church in NewBrunswick on Saturday, November 7th at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or the Fairfax Library Foundation.
